We are seeking a strong Project Manager with ability to manage IT pharmaceutical projects through the entire project lifecycle. Scrum Master
experience required.
Position Summary:
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing Information Technology pharmaceutical projects by applying proven methodologies such
as Agile and PMP in conjunction with the SDLC methodology. You will manage all phases of the project life cycle, risks, issues and lead a
multi-disciplinary team of IT and business professionals, act as the Scrum Master, and effectively communicate with all project stakeholders.
Position Responsibilities and Requirements:
Ability to work within a fast-paced environment with aggressive timelines.
Ability to manage large, complex IT project implementations/upgrades, within pharma R&D areas.
Excellent knowledge/experience of multiple projects management with proven project delivery through full lifecycle from needs analysis,
requirements through deployment/support.
Experience in Agile projects, with experience as Scrum Master.
Experienced in working in a fast-paced, matrix environment, and to adapt project methodology to projects of various size and scope/ complexity.
Excellent project management skills including ability to create/manage project plans, issues management, change management, risk mitigation.
Detail oriented and can manage plans, status dashboards and update them with the project leads.
Provide status updates and manage risks/ issues, governance support for project and program change management.
Ability to work with team and client leadership to identify/mitigate issues, track progress/budget against work-plan, escalate issues as
appropriate.
Proven experience in stakeholders management and client relationship management.
Capability to manage expectations and work with minimal supervision.
Ability to work both in teams and independently, manage multiple projects, juggle multiple changing priorities, demonstrate high attention to
detail, and meet tight deadlines.
Must be client focused and be able to drive team to successful implementation.
Excellent verbal and written communications to provide status and manage risks/ issues working with all levels of stakeholders.
Experience in managing Pharma projects.
Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
Ability to articulate technical issues in business terms and vice-versa.
Qualifications:
6+ years project management experience with at least 2 years in pharmaceutical IT projects.
Skilled in project management tools such as MS Project, MS Teams.
Experience with utilizing Agile tools such as JIRA or DevOps for projects.
Agile and Scrum Master experience required, Scrum Master certification a plus.
